We have truly never seen a wedding like that of Ellie and Jack. With much thought and family sentiment, they chose to hold their ceremony amidst the ruins of a burned-down family estate in Buckingham County, VA. Surrounded by the bricks and rubble, Ellie and Jack made vows and breathed life into a new chapter, and then celebrated with family and friends underneath a gorgeous Sperry tent overlooking the family farm. With a combination of Maryland and Southern influences in their families, Ellie and Jack treated their guests to Southsides, an oyster bar, fried green tomatoes, a roasted pig, and a whole lot of other goodness. Their guests danced – no, rocked- the night away to a Southern rock band, and when it was time to hop on the bus, each guest was greeted with a “Happy Meal” of a short-rib sandwich and truffle fries….no better way to cap a truly happy day!
